The eight-week competition wrapped up in March and included 110 cities across five divisions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Richardson Parks and Recreation Department held a variety of\u00a0special events\u00a0to increase community participation in the challenge.\u00a0Participants earned points by reporting their daily activities such as eating healthy, drinking\u00a0water\u00a0or exercising.\u00a0Richardson finished with 2.3 million points. This is the first year Richardson has finished in first place.
