After leading the entire game, Texas A&M<\/a> surrendered two runs in the top of the seventh, falling behind 4\u20133 heading into the bottom of the frame. Arizona State ace Kenzie Brown, one of ASU\u2019s 17 Golden Ticket winners, showed exactly why she earned that honor, refusing to allow a single hit in the final inning to lock down the win.<\/p>\n A&M opened in a strong position, striking first on a two\u2011run home run from Micaela Wark. ASU answered quickly, tying the game in the top of the second, and from that point forward, the matchup turned into a defensive grind. The Aggies managed to scratch across a run in the bottom of the fourth to reclaim a 3\u20132 lead, a margin that held all the way to the final inning.<\/p>\n Arizona State began its seventh\u2011inning rally with a leadoff double, then capitalized on a pair of free passes and timely hitting to flip the score and take a 4\u20133 advantage.
