A monkey wearing a diaper was on the prowl i<\/a>nside a Spirit Halloween store in Texas Monday night.<\/p>\n Social media video captured the moments the small primate<\/a> had Halloween shopping on a stand still, at the store In Plano, Texas. The monkey ran away from its owner and evaded capture for 30 minutes while it swung from rafters.<\/p>\n In one instance, viewers can see the monkey scaling a column, <\/a>and in another, a shopper is waving their hands at the monkey, seemingly trying to coax it to climb down from the shelves. Is that a real monkey,\u2019\u201d Texas resident Arlene Pinkston told the local news outlet.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I look up and I said it\u2019s got a diaper on, so I guess it is real,\u201d she said<\/p>\n Jimmy Harris, who works at the store, said he was entertained.<\/p>\n A lot of people just stood and watched it for like 30 minutes, the whole time, they were like, \u2018monkey,\u2019 and we had kids trying to catch it,\u201d Harris told the outlet.<\/p>\n Plano police were called to the store. In a statement, officers said, \u201cHe observed the monkey swinging from the rafters wearing a diaper.
