Landon Sanders vanished from his family’s Texas home on Tuesday, May 12<\/p>\n

He is believed to have been carrying a backpack and allegedly ran away on a black scooter<\/p>\n

Authorities are asking the public for help in finding the missing 14-year-old<\/p>\n

Authorities in Texas are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing teenage boy.<\/p>\n

Landon Sanders is believed to have run away from his mother\u2019s home in Round Rock on Tuesday, May 12, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) said in a news release<\/a> on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cLandon Sanders was last seen on an indoor security camera at his mother\u2019s residence in the Brushy Creek neighborhood of Round Rock at 8:05 p.m. [local time] on Tuesday,\u201d said the WCSO. \u201cHe is believed to have run away on a black scooter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Landon, 14, is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.<\/p>\n

According to the WCSO, he was last seen wearing black pants and no shirt, or possibly a gray or black shirt.<\/p>\n

Landon\u2019s mother, Kimberly Sanders, wrote on Facebook<\/a> that her son was spotted in the Forest Creek area of Round Rock on Wednesday, May 13, \u201cwearing a white shirt, black jeans, and carrying a black backpack.\u201d<\/p>\n

She claimed that Landon \u201cwas seen with two other boys that were thin, one with tattoos in the Forest Creek area.\u201d<\/p>\n

The police have not identified anyone else in relation to Landon\u2019s disappearance at this time.<\/p>\n

The WCSO is asking anyone with information about Sanders’ whereabouts to contact them at (512) 943-1300, or contact the non-emergency dispatch line for Williamson County (512) 864-8282.<\/p>\n
