On Saturday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, the band that formed in 1971 played what is scheduled to be their final show ever in DFW, as part of their \u201cThe Long Goodbye Act III.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s good to be home,\u201d Texas native and Eagles founding member Don Henley told the audience. He promised the band would not talk much, but would deliver a two-hour show full of hits.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause we can,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
They easily could have played three hours.<\/p>\n
