A multi-vehicle traffic collision involving a semitrailer closed Interstate 10 for more than two hours in East El Paso, police said.<\/p>\n

The crash scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened by 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, the Texas Department of Transportation said via X.<\/p>\n

There were at least three people taken to a hospital following the collision, which occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. Monday on I-10 West near Yarbrough Drive, El Paso Police Department spokeswoman Detective Judy Oviedo said in a message.<\/p>\n

A semitrailer appeared to be down on its side blocking the freeway, according to images from Texas Department of Transportation highway cameras.<\/p>\n

All lanes of I-10 West were closed at Lomaland Drive and westbound traffic was backed up to Zaragoza Road, according to traffic cameras. The freeway later reopened.<\/p>\n

Further details about the accident were not immediately available.<\/p>\n
