A witness to the shooting near McKinney Falls Parkway and William Cannon Drive said the suspects were in a dark sedan. <\/p>\n
Minutes later at 9 a.m., police said they located one of the Hyundais involved in the incidents near South First Street and Ben White Boulevard, but it “eluded before officers could attempt a traffic stop.” Officers later recovered additional stolen cars tied to the shootings at 9:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
Police say suspects fired into a fire station in East Austin off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just before 11 a.m. No injuries were reported.
