HOUSTON \u2013 The man accused of attacking and stabbing a nurse inside a parking garage at the Texas Medical Center appeared in court Monday as prosecutors revealed new details about the assault.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, 46-year-old Perry Green is accused of attacking a Houston Methodist employee on Level 5 of Garage 1 earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors said the victim suffered multiple injuries, including wounds to the chest, and was later treated at Memorial Hermann Hospital.<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s hearing, prosecutors alleged Green restrained the victim with zip ties before stabbing her multiple times in the chest, face, shoulder, hands, armpit, ankle, and forearm.<\/p>\n

Investigators also said Green threatened to kill the nurse if she continued fighting back.<\/p>\n

According to attorneys, the victim was eventually able to escape by using her feet to open the passenger-side door of the vehicle before pulling herself out and running for help.<\/p>\n

Green is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n

Defense attorney Joe Vinas addressed the allegations following the hearing.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, the accusations are serious, but we\u2019re just right at the beginning of it,\u201d Vinas said. \u201cI\u2019ll get what the state has, look into their investigation, conduct any investigation of mine that needs to be done, and then we\u2019ll proceed from there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Green is expected back in court on Wednesday, May 27, for a bond hearing.<\/p>\n

Hospital officials told employees the victim has since been released from the hospital.<\/p>\n
