EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Paradise is coming to the borderland this summer as Sun City Tiki transforms Downtown El Paso into a Polynesian-inspired celebration of music, cocktails, fire dancing, and island culture. <\/p>\n
The event, scheduled for Saturday, August 8, at the El Paso Convention Center, promises to deliver an immersive tropical getaway without ever leaving the desert.<\/p>\n
Billed as a \u201ctropical escape right here in the desert,\u201d Sun City Tiki will feature tiki cocktails, spirit and seltzer tastings, live music, hula lessons, marketplace vendors, and large-scale Polynesian performances throughout the evening.
