Stanton in Segundo Barrio. <\/p>\n<p>A preliminary investigation found that the suspect, identified as Rodolfo Madrid Torres, entered the business, assaulted the owner and demanded money.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the owner was able to break free and lock the suspect inside the business. <\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/kfoxtv.com\/news\/local\/developing-police-ask-public-to-avoid-segundo-barrio-as-suspect-barricades-in-business?src=link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Police say suspect likely fled after barricaded inside a Segundo Barrio business<\/a><\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they believed the suspect was still inside, but he had exited the business and fled before they got there.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators later determined the suspect stole cash and the owner\u2019s wallet, police said. <\/p>\n<p>Officers identified Torres as the suspect during the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Torres was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a charge of aggravated robbery.<\/p>\n<p><p>Police standoff in El Paso&#8217;s Segundo Barrio.
