CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Bob Hall Pier will temporarily close to the public next week as construction crews continue work on the new restaurant and concession area.<\/p>\n
In a press release on Wednesday, the Nueces County officials announced that the entire pier will close beginning at 5 a.m. on May 26 and is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on May 29.<\/p>\n
Crews will install rebar and pour the concrete topping slab that will support the future restaurant and concession space on the pier.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During the closure, the public will not be allowed anywhere on the pier.<\/p>\n
Officials said caution tape and barricades will mark the construction area, and workers will remain on site throughout the project.<\/p>\n
