Houston TranStar is reporting several crashes across Houston-area roadways Wednesday morning as storms continue moving through the region.<\/p>\n

While officials have not linked the crashes directly to the weather, drivers are urged to stay alert and use caution on slick roads.<\/p>\n

All eastbound main lanes of the 610 North Loop at McCarty Street are shut down following a crash involving multiple 18-wheelers. The crash was reported around 3 a.m., and crews are working to clear the scene.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the ramp connecting to I-10 and Travis Street is also closed after officials said a box truck fell off the freeway.<\/p>\n
