Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder over the Spurs to even the Western Conference Finals 1-1 on Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder took the lead late in the first quarter and held it for most of the game, fending off a spirited effort from the San Antonio Spurs to even the Western Conference Finals 1-1 with a 122-113 win.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (30 pts, 9 ast) led the way, knocking down a jumper to seal it in the waning moments and telling his teammates to calm down. The Kia MVP was the man late.

Victor Wembanyama (21 pts, 17 reb, 6 ast, 4 blk) and Stephon Castle (25 pts, 5 reb, 8 ast) battled for the Spurs. But Castle’s nine turnovers, part of 21 on the whole for San Antonio, were costly.

What we know about Wednesday’s game:

Postgame Presser: Spurs-Thunder MAY 20, 2026 / 11:28 ET

One time for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

SGA STARRED IN GAME 2!

⛈️ 30 PTS THUNDER EVEN THE SERIES AT 1-1 IN THE WEST FINALS 🍿 pic.twitter.com/z73lxk6vLz

— NBA (@NBA) May 21, 2026

MAY 20, 2026 / 11:18 ET

Postgame Presser: Spurs-Thunder

LIVE: Spurs/Thunder Game 2 Postgame Presser

NBA Conference Finals presented by @Google https://t.co/UQACm8yizX

— NBA (@NBA) May 21, 2026

MAY 20, 2026 / 11:06 ET

Thunder win 122-113

The Thunder were not to be denied tonight, using a pressure defense and timely shooting to even this series at 1-1.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (30 pts, 9 ast) starred for OKC, leading seven players in double figures.
