AEP reports more than 3,000 outages Thursday morning across Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces and Aransas counties as another round of storms moves through the region.<\/p>\n

As of 6 a.m. here are the latest outages along with restoration times. 3,155 outages reported in the following counties.<\/p>\n

Jim Wells County \u2014 2,262 \u2014 12 p.m.
Kleberg County \u2014 527 \u2014 9:30 a.m.
Nueces County \u2014 7,755 \u2014 12 p.m.
Aransas County \u2014 37 \u2014 12 p.m.
Live Oak County \u2014 22 \u2014 12 p.m.
San Patricio County \u2014 100 \u2014 12 p.m.<\/p>\n

Another round of rain and thunderstorms moved across the Coastal Bend Thursday morning, leaving thousands of residents without power and prompting flash flood concerns in parts of South Texas.<\/p>\n

According to AEP Texas\u2019s outage map<\/a>, the largest number of outages was reported in Jim Wells County, where 2,262 customers were without power, with an estimated restoration time of noon.<\/p>\n

Kleberg County reported 527 outages with restoration expected by 9:30 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nueces County had 207 outages with an estimated restoration time of noon, while Aransas County reported 37 outages.<\/p>\n

Heavy rain also led to flash flooding concerns in Alice and Kingsville as storms continued moving through the area Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

The outages come after several days of rain and thunderstorms across the Coastal Bend this week. Drivers are urged to use caution on wet roads and avoid flooded streets.<\/p>\n
