Splash Pads are fun, free and a great way to beat the summer heat.<\/p>\n

The park splash pads, which open Memorial Day weekend, are open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Labor Day. After Labor Day, they are open weekends only, through the end of September.<\/p>\n

Each location includes different water features from spraying palm trees to ground jets.<\/p>\n

Don Misenhimer Park Splash Pad – 201 E Lonesome Dove Trail, 76002

\nDon Misenhimer is a neighborhood spray ground featuring fountains and fixtures perfect for younger children, including a dolphin fountain, spraying palm tree and jets reaching upwards of 10 feet. The park also features a basketball court, pavilion, two playgrounds and a practice field. This park also has public restrooms.<\/p>\n

Brantley Hinshaw Park Splash Pad – 2121 Overbrook Drive, 76014

\nBrantley Hinshaw park has a spray ground perfect for younger children. The spray ground features a spiral, spraying tunnel and arch as well as ground jets. The park also features a basketball court, practice fields, picnic area and two playgrounds.<\/p>\n

California Lane Park Splash Pad – 2001 California Lane, 76015

\nCalifornia Lane park’s spray ground features a spray tunnel and arch, ground jets and a spinning water play station. The park also features a pavilion, practice fields, basketball courts and two playgrounds.<\/p>\n

Beacon Recreation Center Splash Pad<\/p>\n

The Beacon Recreation Center – 1100 Mansfield Webb Road, 76002

\nThe splash pad at the Beacon Recreation Center in southeast Arlington features a water maze and spray ground as well as covered shelters available for rent. Splash pad use is available for members or enjoy access with a $8 day pass. The Beacon’s splash pad is open through October, pending weather. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.<\/p>\n
