The event has also previously been recognized<\/a> in national rankings<\/p>\n A Celebration Tied To America\u2019s 250th Anniversary<\/p>\n This year\u2019s event carries additional significance as communities across the country begin commemorating the upcoming American Semiquincentennial, marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.<\/p>\n One of the new additions this year is the Patriotic Pergola, presented by the Association of the United States Army, featuring flags representing all 50 states and five U.S. territories displayed in the order they joined the Union.<\/p>\n Texas, organizers noted, will appear as the 28th state.<\/p>\n What Visitors Can Expect<\/p>\n The centerpiece of the celebration remains the official watch party inside Addison Circle Park, where thousands gather each year for live music, food, airshows and the nationally recognized fireworks finale.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s entertainment lineup includes:<\/p>\n
