ARLINGTON, Texas \u2014 A teenager is in the hospital after being shot at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon, according to Arlington Police.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police say officers got called to the complex in the 1600 block of Nandina Drive after getting reports of a shooting. When they made it to the scene, police say they found a 17-year-old who had been shot in the parking lot.<\/p>\n
Officials say the teen was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
Details on what led to the shooting were not released, but investigators believe the teen and the shooter were “engaging in high-risk activity” prior to the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officials say there were no other injuries from the shooting, and the suspect has not been caught.\u00a0<\/p>\n
