MCKINNEY \u2013 Plano East\u2019s Treyce Seldon carried the ball only 10 times but rushed for 88 yards and two scores to lead his team to a 20-13 District 6-6A win over McKinney on Friday night at McKinney ISD Stadium.<\/p>\n
His rushing, coupled with backfield mate Gabe Berliner (3 carries for 44 yards), helped a ground game grind out the win for Plano East (2-7, 2-5). <\/p>\n
But the defense made the difference, turning away McKinney (3-6, 2-5) in the final two minutes with an interception in the end zone to preserve the win.<\/p>\n
McKinney outgained Plano East with 316 yards of total offense to 218, but Plano East held tough on three fourth-down conversion attempts to hold McKinney to just two Boston Stephens field goals though the first three quarters.<\/p>\n
Seldon ripped off a 62-yard scoring run to push the Plano East lead to 20-6.<\/p>\n
McKinney pulled to within a score when Kip Killough hit Dylan Mitchell with a 5-yard pass on fourth and goal for their lone TD.<\/p>\n
