EMPORIA, Kansas (May 21, 2026) \u2013 Lubbock Christian University junior Maurice Gray<\/a> earned a podium finish at the NCAA Division II Track and Field National Championships at Francis G. Welch Stadium on Thursday.\n\u00a0\nGray finished seventh in the long jump with a leap of 7.38 meters, which is the second-best jump of his career.\n\u00a0\nThis is the second podium finish is the second of the season for Gray, who also finished seventh in the long jump at the indoor national championship meet. He was also a silver medalist at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in the long jump.\n\u00a0\nGray’s personal best in the event came earlier this season at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi when he leapt 7.57.
