{"id":304767,"date":"2026-05-22T17:09:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T17:09:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/304767\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T17:09:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T17:09:13","slug":"dallas-woman-jailed-on-dwi-evading-arrest-charges-after-brief-chase-near-dorchester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/304767\/","title":{"rendered":"Dallas woman jailed on DWI, evading arrest charges after brief chase near Dorchester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) &#8211; A Dallas woman was jailed Thursday morning on a pair of charges after she allegedly refused to stop for police, leading them on a brief chase near Dorchester. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Emily Kilman was booked into the Grayson County Jail on two charges: driving while intoxicated and evading arrest with a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An officer with the Southmayd Police Department was on patrol in the area of SH-289 and FM 902 when they allegedly observed Kilman speeding past at 80 mph in a 60 mph zone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say Kilman refused to stop for the officer, resulting in a brief chase that lasted for three miles until she came to a stop north of Gunter near the intersection of SH-289 and Savage Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kilman was then placed under arrest and taken to the Grayson County Jail, where she was later released after posting an $8,000 bond.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KXII.
