{"id":305312,"date":"2026-05-23T00:36:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-23T00:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/305312\/"},"modified":"2026-05-23T00:36:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-23T00:36:14","slug":"mad-hippie-to-launch-the-skincare-brands-first-flagship-store-in-south-austin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/305312\/","title":{"rendered":"Mad Hippie to launch the skincare brand\u2019s first flagship store in South Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/madhippie.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mad Hippie\u2019s<\/a> first storefront is set to open in Austin on May 28, bringing a range of skincare products from its digital platform straight to customers, according to a news release.\u201cThis has always been an Austin brand, so opening our first store here felt like a natural next step,\u201d Sam Stewart, Mad Hippie\u2019s co-founder, said in a news release. \u201cWe wanted to create something that goes beyond traditional retail\u2014a space where people can slow down, take a deep breath, and connect with both the products and the community around them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What they offer<\/p>\n<p>The skincare brand sells a range of products including the Antioxidant Facial Oil, Vitamin C Serum, Luminizing Facial SPF, and a range of creams and cleansers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Mad Hippie products, the store will also stock a selection of products from local and small businesses, including ceramics, silk loungewear, Moroccan slippers and textiles.<\/p>\n<p>The 3,600-square-foot space will be rooted in nature, with a 300-year-old live oak tree, lounge areas, a vinyl turntable and tea service. The store will also have a facial bar for customers to test products and estheticians and staff to offer help with applications.<\/p>\n<p>The background<\/p>\n<p>Mad Hippie was founded by husband-and-wife Dana and Sam Stewart in 2009.
