But the case now heads to the Texas 15th Court of Appeals for further opinion. <\/p>\n<p>Joshua Sandler of Winstead PC, who leads the Stars\u2019 legal team, told The News earlier this year that the team has prevailed in multiple appeals within the last year, including one the Texas Supreme Court affirmed. The Stars\u2019 appellate team also includes former Texas Supreme Court chief justice Wallace B. Jefferson.<\/p>\n<p>The Stars did not immediately respond to The News&#8217; request for comment.
