(KLFY) \u2014 There was a two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 190 near Jennings Road on May 22, that claimed the life of 19-year-old Courtney Hodge of Texas, officials said. Shortly after 3 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2005 Kenworth Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) was traveling west on La.-190 approaching Jennings Road. At the same time, a 2025 Kia K4 was traveling west behind the CMV. The CMV began to slow as it was approaching a crossover.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For unknown reasons, the Kia failed to slow and rear-ended the CMV.<br \/>Hodge died at the scene, officials said.
