Since joining the City in 2012, he has contributed significantly to public works through roles including project manager, project manager supervisor, and construction management administrator, the City of Las Cruces said. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects, the City said.<\/p>\n<p>In his new role, Moreno\u00a0will continue advancing the Public Works Department\u2019s mission and supporting the development and delivery of high\u2011impact initiatives across the City. Moreno is a graduate of New Mexico State University. He holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in geological engineering and a master\u2019s degree in civil engineering, with a minor in experimental statistics.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
