\n\tNick Solak<\/a> and Will Wagner<\/a> homered as the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas fell to Round Rock 7-5. Romeo Sanabria<\/a> hit a homer as part of a four-hit night as the Double-A San Antonio Missions lost 7-5 to Frisco. The High-A Fort Wayne TinCaps were blanked by Dayton 5-0 and the Low-A Lake Elsinore Storm suffered a 6-2 loss to\u00a0Visalia.\n<\/p>\n \n\tPadres Minor-League Transactions\n<\/p>\n \tNick Solak’s 3-Run Homer Wasted As Chihuahuas Crumble Late<\/p>\n \n\tDespite a five-run third inning, the host Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas saw the Round Rock Express score four times in the final two innings, including three in the top of the ninth for a 7-5 loss.\n<\/p>\n \n\tNick Solak had three hits, including a three-run homer, and Will Wagner also homered for the Chihuahuas.\n<\/p>\n \n\tEl Paso left-handed starter Marco Gonzales<\/a> went 4\u2154 innings, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three. Gonzales gave up a run in the top of the first, but the Chihuahuas came back and scored all their runs in the third inning. Solak blasted his three-run shot to left-center, his fourth of the year and second in as many games, with no outs and Wagner cranked his first of the year one out later to make it 4-1. Mason McCoy<\/a> reached on an error and Carlos Rodriguez<\/a> doubled him home to put the Chihuahuas up 5-1.\n<\/p>\n \n\tRound Rock got one in the fourth, one in the sixth and another in the eighth to pull within 5-4. Brito went 3\u2153 innings, allowing three runs on six hits with three walks and one strikeout. Brito faced 19 hitters and threw 68 pitches, 40 for strikeouts. He induced nine groundouts in his 10 outs.\n<\/p>\n \n\tSalas and Sanabria got the Missions going in the top of the first with one-out singles, with Tirso Ornelas<\/a> doubling home Salas and Albert Fabian<\/a> singling home Sanabria for a 2-0 edge. In the third, Salas had a leadoff double and Sanabria hit a first-pitch two-run homer, his fourth long ball of the year and first since May 12. Frisco got two back in the bottom of the third and another in the fourth to make it 4-3. The Missions went up 5-3 in the sixth as Francisco Acuna<\/a> singled, stole second and went to third on Chris Sargent<\/a>‘s sacrifice bunt. Carson Tucker<\/a> then lofted a sac fly to plate Acuna.\n<\/p>\n \n\tBut the RoughRiders took control of the game with a four-run seventh against Missions right-hander Clark Candiotti<\/a>, who got just one out while allowing three hits and two walks in his third Double-A appearance.\n<\/p>\n \n\tSalas, Padres Mission’s No. 1 prospect<\/a>, had his third three-hit game of the season and eighth of his career. He singled in his first at-bat in the sixth inning, then homered in the eighth inning, a solo for his third homer of the season and second in three games. His single led off the sixth and he went to third on a wild pitch and to third on Truitt Madonna<\/a>‘s single.
