Flags for Heroes is an event put on by the Rockport American GI Forum and held near the harbor at Rockport Veterans&#8217; Memorial Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, volunteers armed with American flags placed a flag at the graves of service members laid to rest at cemeteries in Rockport, Fulton and Lamar. Residents were given the opportunity to sponsor a flag in honor of a veteran.
