Sanchez is suspended indefinitely for what the department says was excessive speeding, failing to follow traffic laws, and not recording with his body-worn camera.<\/p>\n<p>Records show Sanchez has been disciplined twice since September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say Sanchez drove 98 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone despite not being authorized to drive that fast. SAPD says Sanchez was well over the speed limit at least five times in a single shift, and he did so on additional occasions in the days that followed.
