EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 A man accused of using a drone to monitor a home after following a victim home was arrested in El Paso after deputies responded to a family violence call, authorities said.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, at 7:38 a.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of Paseo Modesto Drive. <\/p>\n
The victim reported that 26-year-old Cristobal Gonzalez followed them to their residence, damaged property, and caused them to fear for their safety due to prior incidents.<\/p>\n
Surveillance footage showed Gonzalez using a drone to monitor the residence, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
Deputies later located Gonzalez in the 13000 block of Powick Drive and took him into custody without incident. <\/p>\n
Detectives later executed a search warrant on his vehicle, where a drone and controller were recovered.<\/p>\n
Gonzalez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on charges of stalking, theft of property and criminal trespass. <\/p>\n
His total bond was set at $27,000.<\/p>\n
