Dallas-area chef\u00a0Tiffany Derry<\/a>\u00a0opened a new dessert shop, Syrup + Sno, in Grand Prairie’s EpicCentral development.<\/p>\n

The MasterChef judge \u2014 who has become D-FW’s most prolific TV chef, after more than 15 years on screen \u2014 is selling soft serve, cookies and build-your-own snow cones at the new shop. It’s located near\u00a0The Landing, Derry’s new sports bar<\/a> in EpicCentral.<\/p>\n

Syrup + Sno opened on Memorial Day 2026. It was created to honor the array of sweet treats in many cultures.<\/p>\n

“Turns out,” reads the website, “joy is pretty universal. Almost every culture in the world has its own version of shaved ice \u2014 Louisiana Sneaux Balls, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Puerto Rican piragua, Japanese kakig\u014dri, Nigerian snow cones, Mexican raspados, Korean bingsu. Different names, different flavors, same feeling.”<\/p>\n

Menu items range from classic to unexpected. Customers will find $12 “signature” snow cones like bananas foster or\u00a0mangonada. The halo-halo piles on more ingredients than any other: ube, mango, soft serve ice cream, coconut, strawberries, red bean and mochi.<\/p>\n

Macaron ice cream sandwiches \u2014 or two crunchy cookies with ice cream in between \u2014 come in varieties like\u00a0caramel toffee latte and vegan blueberry crumble.<\/p>\n

Visitors can also build their own soft serve creations for $7 and top each cold swirl with 75-cent extras: Pop Rocks, gummy bears, M&Ms, mochi, Texas pecans, sprinkles and more.<\/p>\n

Though most treats are packed with sugar, a few are available with sugar-free syrup, like the mango or tiger’s blood snow cones.<\/p>\n

Syrup + Sno is at 2951 S. State Highway 161, Grand Prairie.
