This list is not comprehensive.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming projects<\/p>\n<p>1. South Houston Avenue widening<\/p>\n<p>Project: South Houston Avenue will be widened between Will Clayton Parkway and Atascocita Road, turning the existing two-lane asphalt roadway into a three-lane concrete roadway with curb and gutter. A new traffic signal system and drainage improvements are also included in the project.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Engineering is about 95% complete, and the project is expected to go out for bids in late 2026, Humble City Manager Jason Stuebe said during an <a href=\"https:\/\/members.lakehouston.org\/events\/Details\/humble-bizcom-1634585?sourceTypeId=Hub\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">April 23 Humble BizCom event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2. Meek and Manning roads upgrades<\/p>\n<p>Project: Existing asphalt on Meek and Manning roads will be repaved between North Houston Avenue and Townsen Boulevard. The project will also include drainage improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Engineering is about 75% complete, Stuebe said April 23.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: TBDCost: $1.7 millionFunding source: city of HumbleOngoing projects<\/p>\n<p>3. Humble multi-road repair project<\/p>\n<p>Project: Existing asphalt on McDugald Road, Sharon Drive and Carolyn Court will be replaced with concrete, curb and gutter.
