beyond the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>With international visitors expected throughout the region this summer, Plano businesses, entertainment districts and restaurants are planning weeks of soccer-themed events, fan activations and watch parties designed to turn the city into a World Cup gathering hub.<\/p>\n<p>From Japanese supporter celebrations in Downtown Plano to giant viewing parties at Legacy Hall and immersive soccer activations at Legacy West, fans will have no shortage of ways to experience the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Japan Day: Ultras Meets Plano<\/p>\n<p>One of the most unique events arrives the evening before Japan\u2019s featured match against the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>On June 13, supporters from Japan and North Texas soccer communities will gather at McCall Plaza in the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District for Japan Day: Ultras Meets Plano.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Ultras Nippon, the open community event aims to connect Plano and Japan through soccer culture and live entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and will feature:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tLive music&#13;<br \/>\n\tJapanese DJ performances&#13;<br \/>\n\tFood and drinks&#13;<br \/>\n\tFull bar service&#13;<br \/>\n\tFan cheer exchanges between Japanese supporters, Ultras Nippon and FC Dallas supporters&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Legacy West Turns Into A Soccer Basecamp<\/p>\n<p>Legacy West is also leaning heavily into the World Cup atmosphere with weeks of soccer-themed activations planned throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The district will officially kick things off on June 4 with the grand opening of a new flagship Adidas store, helping cement Legacy West as a major soccer shopping and fan destination during the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Additional plans
