Plano-based Ivy Technology\u2014a portfolio company of Boston\u2019s Staple Street Capital that provides technology lifecycle services and infrastructure solutions\u2014has acquired ISP Tek Services, an IT asset disposition provider, from Close the Loop.<\/p>\n

The strategic acquisition strengthens Ivy\u2019s IT asset disposition capabilities and adds secure asset recovery, refurbishment, and resale services while extending the company\u2019s operational footprint into Mexico, Ivy said.<\/p>\n

Ivy CEO Scott Greer said the acquisition of Southlake-based ISP Tek Services \u201cenhances Ivy\u2019s service offering and strengthens our position in the IT asset lifecycle market.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe combination of capabilities supports a more connected, end-to-end approach, delivering increased value for our customers, partners, and stakeholders,\u201d he added in a statement.<\/p>\n

ISP Tek Services CEO Matthew Zimmer said that joining Ivy Technology \u201cmarks an exciting next step for our business,\u201d noting that it expands ISP\u2019s service offerings and global reach while offering immediate value to the company\u2019s customers and OEM partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether with Ivy Technology, our team is well-positioned to continue building a best-in-class ITAD and refurbishment portfolio worldwide,\u201d Zimmer said.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the partners at Staple Street Capital said the acquisition \u201ccombines Ivy\u2019s global platform with ISP Tek\u2019s established asset disposition and certified refurbishment capabilities, enabling Ivy to better serve its customers across the full technology lifecycle while accelerating ISP Tek\u2019s growth trajectory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Ivy Technology acquired Tempest Telecom Solutions<\/a>, a provider of wireless network technology equipment and solutions serving telecom, enterprise, and government customers.<\/p>\n
