A new office tower and a major expansion of Kaleidoscope Park are set to push Hall Park deeper into its next phase of redevelopment as the $7 billion Frisco development continues evolving into a large-scale mixed-use district.<\/p>\n

Hall Park announced this week that construction is expected to begin within the next month on both The Terraces Hall Park \u2014 a new 10-story Class A office building \u2014 and a $14 million expansion<\/a> of Kaleidoscope Park. Both projects are expected to open in 2028.<\/p>\n

Hall Park\u2019s Next Era Starts To Take Shape<\/p>\n

Hall Park<\/a> has become one of Frisco\u2019s largest office developments, recognizable for its sculpture garden, corporate campuses and massive green space along the Dallas North Tollway corridor.<\/p>\n

Now, the project is entering a different chapter. The upcoming office tower, called The Terraces Hall Park, will add more than 200,000 square feet of workspace above a parking structure with more than 1,300 spaces.<\/p>\n

Every floor will include outdoor terraces, while the building\u2019s amenity offerings are designed to reflect how companies are increasingly rethinking office environments after years of workplace shifts. Plans call for a fitness center, wellness-focused amenities, meeting spaces, a bar and lounge area and a large terrace overlooking Kaleidoscope Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

About 60% of the building will be delivered as move-in-ready office suites for small- and mid-sized businesses, including consulting firms, boutique legal practices, family offices and companies entering the North Texas market. The remaining space will be left customizable for larger tenants.<\/p>\n

\u201cChoosing to build new office space in this environment is a deliberate and future-focused decision,\u201d said Craig Hall, founder and CEO of Hall Group, in an official statement. \u201cThe workplace is evolving, and we\u2019re responding with a product designed for tomorrow\u2019s employees; highly curated, hospitality-driven and built around flexibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

Expansion Less Than Two Years After Opening<\/p>\n

Alongside the office project, Kaleidoscope Park will grow by roughly 1.4 acres through a partnership involving the city of Frisco, Hall Group, the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation and the Frisco Community Development Corporation.<\/p>\n

The expansion will add additional landscaped areas, a larger performance lawn, a water feature and a large outdoor video screen and performance stage intended to support expanded programming and events.<\/p>\n

Since opening in October 2024, the park has quickly become one of Frisco\u2019s busiest public gathering spaces<\/a>, hosting concerts, markets, fitness classes, festivals and community events throughout the year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe response to Kaleidoscope Park has truly exceeded expectations, and this next phase allows us to expand our programming in meaningful ways,\u201d said Shawn Jackson, executive director of the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation. \u201cWe are excited to build on what we\u2019ve started, creating even more opportunities for families, businesses\u00a0and visitors to gather, celebrate and experience something special.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Different Direction For Frisco Development<\/p>\n

Originally launched in the mid-1990s, the development today spans more than 3 million square feet across office, residential, hospitality and dining uses. Roughly one-third of the property remains dedicated to green space, including walking trails, public art installations and the Texas Sculpture Garden.<\/p>\n

Hall Group\u2019s long-term master plan envisions approximately 9.5 million square feet of mixed-use space over the next two decades.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis expansion is about more than growth. It is about creating lasting memories for years and generations to come,\u201d Jackson said.<\/p>\n
