A Central Texas burger joint is giving away free burgers this week exclusively at one of its hometown restaurants.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hopdoddy<\/a>\u00a0will be offering free burgers to celebrate National Burger Day on Thursday, May 28. Although the Austin-born burger chain has multiple locations across Texas, this deal will only be available at its East 5th Street location in downtown, according to\u00a0Hopdoddy’s joint Instagram post with Austin Eater<\/a>. The Plaza\u00a0Saltillo Hopdoddy will be giving away the free burgers on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n The exclusive promotion includes one free classic burger with cheese if you prefer. In addition to the food inside, Hopdoddy is throwing a party for National Burger Day at its Eastside spot, fit with a Coca-Cola trailer giving away free drinks and merchandise, Driftwood’s\u00a0Vista Brewing<\/a> Distillery distributing \u201cHopdaddy\u201d beer samples for those 21 and up, plus\u00a0a Michelin-recommended Garrison restaurant pop-up<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n There will also be Tillamook ice cream samples, a Tito’s Vodka tent, a DJ from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and a concert from the Jon Knott band<\/a> from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n Founded by four friends on Austin’s South Congress Avenue in 2010, Hopdoddy has become a mid-sized, fast-casual restaurant chain known for its “all-natural” burgers and shareable fries.
