Florida<\/a> WR Dallas Wilson<\/a> has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday\u2019s game against Georgia<\/a>. He returned to the sidelines in street clothes after halftime.<\/p>\n

Wilson left the game following a huge hit by Georgia\u2019s<\/a> KJ Bolden<\/a>. The officials later buzzed down to initiate a targeting review, which resulted in Bolden\u2019s ejection.<\/p>\n

With just over a minute to go in the first half, Wilson limped to the sideline. He later headed back toward the locker room and will now miss the remainder of the World\u2019s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party rivalry game.<\/p>\n

\u201cDallas Wilson, true freshman wide receiver, came out of the locker room. He\u2019s only wearing a right boot,\u201d ABC\u2019s Katie George reported on the broadcast. \u201cHe is out for the game. One of the marquee guys for DJ Lagway in the passing game.\u201d<\/p>\n

The play resulted in Wilson\u2019s first catch of the day, which went for seven yards. He left the field with just over a minute to play in the first half as Florida and Georgia eventually went into halftime tied, 10-10.<\/p>\n

Wilson entered Saturday\u2019s rivalry game with 11 receptions for 167 yards and three touchdowns. He was expected to take on a bigger role in the absence of\u00a0Vernell Brown III<\/a>, who was ruled out for Saturday\u2019s matchup. Dallas Wilson and\u00a0Eugene \u201cTre\u201d Wilson III<\/a>\u00a0were the only receivers to catch passes in the first half.<\/p>\n

Neither offense got much going in the second quarter on Saturday, but Georgia later got a late field goal to pull things to a 10-10 tie with Florida before the break. The Bulldogs totaled 197 yards of offense in the half, led by 119 on 14-of-21 passing from Stockton. He also threw for a touchdown, finding\u00a0Dillon Bell<\/a>\u00a0on the opening drive.<\/p>\n

Florida, meanwhile, had 127 yards through two quarters\u00a0\u2013 though only 29 in the second period.\u00a0DJ Lagway<\/a>\u00a0went 7-of-11 for 101 yards and a touchdown, and\u00a0Jadan Baugh<\/a>\u00a0led the rushing attack with 41 yards.\u00a0Eugene \u201cTre\u201d Wilson III<\/a>\u00a0was the leading receiver with five catches for 87 yards and the touchdown. He was the only Florida player to record multiple receptions in the first half.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s game marked the start of a new era for Florida, which parted ways with\u00a0Billy Napier<\/a>\u00a0prior to the bye week.\u00a0Billy Gonzales<\/a>\u00a0is now in as interim head coach, though he made it clear he still respects the job Napier did in Gainesville.
