\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Keller, Roanoke and north Fort Worth areas have seen several updates to the local hospital systems in or near the cities, including new programs and build-outs.<\/p>\n
Here are three updates from local hospitals in the area.<\/p>\n
Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital Champions Circle <\/p>\n
Baylor Scott & White is opening a $15 million emergency room facility near Texas Motor Speedway. Construction already started on the 18,250-square-foot facility along SH 114, according to previous reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n It will be a 24\/7 emergency room with eight emergency room beds and will have eight inpatient beds for acute services, acute crises and short-term stays, hospital officials said at a groundbreaking ceremony April 16.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you think of the growth in north Fort Worth, the Alliance area, you see the homes behind us and the schools that are popping up,\u201d said Charles Williams, president of BSW DFW-West Region. \u201cIt just makes sense that we are here today. It makes sense that we are here to provide health care to those who live in this community and work in this community.\u201d<\/p>\n The hospital is expected to be finished in 2027.<\/p>\n “><\/p>\n Medical City Alliance<\/p>\n The north Fort Worth hospital broke ground on its new emergency room expansion in March, which will add eight ER beds and include redesigned ambulance bays that will provide more efficiency for first responders, according to previous reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n The shells for the ambulance bays on the backside of the ER are under construction as of March 26, according to a Facebook post<\/a> from the hospital.<\/p>\n ER visits at Medical City Alliance increased nearly 8% between 2023-24, which prompted the need to expand the ER.
