As the officer approached, the man ran away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A chase started, and a privately contracted security guard employed by Citibus joined the pursuit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During the foot chase, the security guard shot his weapon before the suspect was caught.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The man suffered moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to UMC.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
