\u201cIf I see an Open House sign in a neighborhood, I\u2019m one hundred percent going in\u2014that\u2019s just the type of person that I am,\u201d Kristy says of her house hunting days. She even put in an offer on a property she\u2019d fallen in love with. But after it fell through, the Houston<\/a>-based influencer took matters into her own hands, with the help of Novi Home Builders.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe boys creep into my room at night,\u201d Kristy says of her extra large custom Nina Magon Studio bed. \u201cI\u2019m not trying to get kicked in the face,\u201d she laughs when thinking about her young sons. \u201cThey sleep crazy.\u201d The walls are covered in a custom plaster design.<\/p>\n

A few words acted as the driving force behind the design: \u201cModern, soft, and very calm,\u201d Kristy says. That and \u201ca bunch of huge windows.\u201d Kristy tapped designer<\/a> Nina Magon<\/a> to help execute her vision. \u201cIt really all started with this idea of a neutral, bright space,\u201d Magon says of the early days collaborating with the online star. The rest of the project was pretty much seamless, Magon says.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe movement in the lines of the travertine counter was very important to her,\u201d Magon recalls of her client\u2019s attention to precise detail. In the kitchen and dining area, a dark Chiara Andreatti<\/a> dining table provides some weight to the otherwise airy space. The chairs are by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso<\/a>. The glasses and teapot are by Sophie Lou Jacobsen<\/a>.<\/p>\n
