CORPUS CHRISTI, TX\u2014City Council Candidate packets for the 2026 General Election can now be picked up in person from the City Secretary\u2019s office or viewed online.<\/p>\n
Candidates interested in running for City Council will find forms, instruction guides, calendars, deadlines, and campaign resources in the packet.\u00a0 The application and filing fee can be submitted to the City Secretary\u2019s Office beginning July 20 at 8:00 a.m. and August 17 at 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
The City Secretary\u2019s office would like to remind candidates to file a Form CTA\u2013Appointment of Campaign Treasurer by a Candidate with the City Secretary\u2019s Office before filing an application for a place on the ballot per Texas Election Code \u00a7 252.001.<\/p>\n
