1. Custer Parkway reconstruction<\/p>\n
Project: Street reconstruction of Custer Parkway from Campbell Road to Renner Road and street panel replacement from Renner Road to State Highway 190.<\/p>\n
Update: Pavement replacements on multiple segments, with several replacements expected to be complete in June.<\/p>\n
Timeline: fall 2024-fall 2026Cost: $23.1 millionFunding source: city of Richardson2. Richland Park Drive reconstruction<\/p>\n
Project: This project consists of street reconstruction of Richland Park Drive from Sheffield Drive to Tiffany Drive and from Stillmeadow Drive to Wentworth Drive.<\/p>\n
Update: The first phase of construction, sewer installation, is ongoing and expected to continue through May.<\/p>\n
Timeline: winter 2026-fall 2026Cost: $2.8 millionFunding source: city of Richardson3. West Shore Drive improvements<\/p>\n
Project: Work includes pavement, sidewalk and utility improvements on West Shore Drive from Campbell Road to Arapaho Road and on Fontana Avenue from West Shore to Meadow View Drive.<\/p>\n
Update: Sewer line replacement from Wisteria Way to Woodland Way is ongoing. Southbound lanes on that segment of West Shore Drive are temporarily closed.<\/p>\n
Timeline: fall 2025-summer 2027Cost: $10.4 millionFunding source: city of RichardsonUpcoming projects<\/p>\n
4. US 75 at Arapaho Road crossing enhancements<\/p>\n
Project: Work will include Arapaho Trail improvements, pedestrian lighting, new ramps, a DART bus stop connection and a trail connection under US 75 with a barrier wall between a relocated U-turn lane.<\/p>\n
Update: The project is currently under final design.<\/p>\n
