One of the top Fourth of July fireworks shows takes place right here in North Texas. Tickets for the event go on sale today, June 1. <\/p>\n

ADDISON, Texas \u2014 Tickets for Addison’s Kaboom Town fireworks celebration\u00a0are on sale now<\/a>, and this year is expected to be one of the event’s busiest, according to organizers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Addison fireworks show is consistently ranked one of the best in the country, most recently by USA Today, WFAA previously reported<\/a>. And with this year being the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, guests can expect an even bigger and better show, organizers said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tickets to the watch party in Addison Circle Park\u00a0go on sale<\/a> at 10 a.m. June 1, Addison Kaboom town said in a press release. Tickets to the event sell out every year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The price of tickets varies depending on age, organizers said. People ages 10 and older will pay $10, and children aged two to nine get in for $5. Children ages two and younger get in for free.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year, the Patriotic Pergola, provided by the Association of the United States Army, will commemorate the 250th anniversary with flags of all 50 states and 5 territories, arranged in the order they were admitted into the union.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Along with the typical festive food and beverage options, entertainment will include performances by the Emerald City All-Stars and Poo Live Crew. Attendees can also expect a silent disco, all before 7:30 p.m., when the Addison Airport Airshow begins. The annual show will feature a team of skydivers and several historic war birds, according to the release.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then, of course, the fireworks show will begin!\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The fireworks at Addison Kaboom Town! are legendary and have been ranked among the top fireworks shows in the U.S. since they started in 1985,” the release says.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you can’t secure tickets, there are plenty of options to view the fireworks from afar, organizers said. A list of watchparties will be available on the Kaboom Town website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
