The third-year offensive lineman missed the last four games due to a knee injury.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Zavala could start at right guard this weekend in place of Brady Christensen, who ruptured his Achilles in the <a href=\"http:\/\/pantherswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/panthers\/2025\/10\/26\/panthers-bills-game-recap-week-8\/86918052007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Week 8 loss<\/a> to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/buffalo-bills\/324\" data-autotag=\"1082767b-7fb4-4f44-b217-cdba2c3895e9\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Buffalo Bills<\/a>. Christensen was <a href=\"http:\/\/pantherswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/panthers\/2025\/10\/30\/panthers-brady-christensen-injured-reserve-mike-white\/86948821007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">placed on injured reserve<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">To open up a spot on the active roster for Zavala, the Panthers have released running back DeeJay Dallas. Dallas recorded one carry and six kick returns in two games this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Carolina also elevated outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon from the practice squad.
