CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 37 last week as 58-year-old Gilbert Garza Jr.<\/p>\n
According to the medical examiner’s office, Garza died following the crash, which occurred on Friday, May 29, on the southbound IH-37 near Lantana Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Family members have been notified.<\/p>\n
The crash prompted the closure of the southbound lanes of IH-37 as Corpus Christi police officers and forensic investigators responded to the scene.<\/p>\n
