{"id":318290,"date":"2026-06-01T23:08:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T23:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/318290\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T23:08:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T23:08:07","slug":"highway-patrol-asking-for-publics-help-identifying-vehicle-in-connection-with-hit-and-run-that-killed-a-lubbock-man-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/318290\/","title":{"rendered":"Highway Patrol asking for public\u2019s help identifying vehicle in connection with hit-and-run that killed a Lubbock man"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">WINKLER COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) &#8211; The Texas Highway Patrol is asking for the public\u2019s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a Lubbock man Sunday night. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Around 11 p.m., 43-year-old Clayton Tedder was struck by a vehicle while in the roadway near CR 313 and Mile Marker 225. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The crash investigation indicates an unknown vehicle was traveling southbound on CR 313 when it struck Teeder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials with Texas Highway Patrol say the driver failed to stop and render aid, fleeing the scene immediately after the crash. Teeder died at the scene. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Anyone with information concerning this crash is urged to call Texas DPS at 432-498-2131 or the Winkler County Sheriff\u2019s Office at 432-586-3461. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
