Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Isaiah Houston. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As the officer approached, Houston ran away. A chase started, and a privately contracted security guard employed by Citibus joined the pursuit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During the foot chase, the security guard shot his weapon before Houston was caught. Police say Houston was armed with a knife.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was taken to UMC with moderate injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
