OKLAHOMA CITY — OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Nijaree Canady pitched a complete-game two-hitter and Texas Tech advanced to its second straight championship series of the Women’s College World Series after defeating top-seeded Alabama 2-0 on Monday night in their second semifinal matchup of the day.

Texas Tech (61-8) will play No. 2 Texas (51-12) on Wednesday at Devon Park in a double-elimination format.
