So much so, the audience didn\u2019t recognize him when he touched the stage. It wasn\u2019t until his voice echoed over Philly that the erupted at the sight of his fro. Jay Z started his natural hair journey in 2017, almost a decade ago, rocking shorter locs in the \u2018Ape Sh*t\u2019 video up until his previous public appearance with his wicks at the <a href=\"https:\/\/hellobeautiful.com\/4582794\/2026-met-gala-theme\/\" id=\"4582794\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2026 Met Gala<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>While <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/houstonlocs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Houston Locs<\/a> combed out Jay Z\u2019s locks, hairstylist <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/luckylettty\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Letisia Ravelo, aka @LuckyLettty<\/a>, got his fro right. \u201cSo many different flows \ud83e\udeae\ud83d\ude0e Thank you again for trusting me on this switch up!!!\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jayz\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">@jayz<\/a>\u00a0Big fucking JIGGA \ud83d\ude4c\ud83c\udffd\ud83d\udcaa\ud83c\udffd you broke the internet again \ud83e\udd2a Hair by Me \ud83d\udc81\ud83c\udffd\u200d\u2640\ufe0f,\u201d she captioned a photo.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s safe to say Cecred\u2019s detangling spray is having almost as big a week as Jay.
