The Dallas family behind Italian restaurant\u00a0Campisi’s plans to open a delivery and pickup restaurant at Preston Road and Royal Lane on Aug. 1, 2026, confirmed owner and\u00a0chief pizza operator David\u00a0Campisi.<\/p>\n

The family wants to open more to-go kitchens that serve the full Campisi’s menu, but without a dining room, Campisi said.\u00a0The goal is customers can order and pick up Italian food in 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

“We put a lot of resources in our kitchen so our pick up times are quicker,” Campisi said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A small market with take-and-bake pizzas and half lasagnas will be available to anyone, no call-ahead necessary.<\/p>\n

For delivery,\u00a0Campisi gives a tip: Place the order on the Campisi’s website, where\u00a0food is less expensive than on third-party delivery apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats.<\/p>\n

Campisi confirmed the new pizza shop does not replace the company’s desire to reopen near the Bluffview and Devonshire neighborhoods of Dallas, where a fire damaged their restaurant in late 2025<\/a>. Campisi’s remains closed at West Lovers Lane and Inwood Road, for now.<\/p>\n
