Its regulations are few and reasonable; the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.txse.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas Stock Exchange<\/a> is open for business on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4ZVHDTUQWKY\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Y\u2019all Street<\/a>; and the state constitution prohibits the imposition of a <a href=\"https:\/\/statutes.capitol.texas.gov\/?tab=2&amp;code=CN&amp;chapter=CN.8&amp;artSec=8.8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">personal income tax<\/a>. All this explains why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/newsroom\/2026\/02\/apple-accelerates-us-manufacturing-with-mac-mini-production\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apple<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/10\/07\/tesla-moves-its-headquarters-from-california-to-texas.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tesla<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/business\/autos\/toyota-mulls-2-billion-investment-to-add-assembly-line-in-texas-c76be2f7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toyota<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/health\/pharma\/eli-lilly-to-build-6-5-billion-ingredient-manufacturing-facility-in-texas-7bc8bc23\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eli Lilly<\/a> are expanding, building plants, and creating jobs in the Lone Star State. But Texas isn\u2019t satisfied yet\u2014it wants to be a one-stop shop for business, and because a company\u2019s place of incorporation is legally separate from where it operates, the state is also moving to challenge Delaware\u2019s dominance as the <a href=\"https:\/\/harvardlawreview.org\/print\/vol-139\/dormancy-and-delaware-an-emerging-threat-to-the-internal-affairs-doctrine\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">jurisdiction of choice<\/a> for incorporations.
