A 19-year-old died after colliding with a vehicle in Richardson, police said. <\/p>\n
RICHARDSON, Texas \u2014 A 19-year-old bicyclist was killed Monday after crashing into a vehicle, Richardson police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers responded around 5:13 p.m. on June 1 to reports of a crash in the 1400 block of East Arapaho Road, the Richardson Police Department said in a press release.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Investigators found the driver of a Toyota Avalon was exiting a parking lot and preparing to turn onto East Arapaho Road when a bicyclist, who was crossing the parking lot entrance and exit, collided with the passenger side of the Toyota.<\/p>\n
The Richardson Fire Department responded to the scene and attempted to help the bicyclist, who was identified as 19-year-old Ngan Thi Xuan Nguyen, police said. He later died from his injuries, the release states.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The driver of the Toyota was uninjured. He was the only person in the vehicle, officials said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
